The right BinderPOS alternative depends on what you need to replace. A register, a webstore, marketplace synchronization and a customer pickup workflow are different jobs. List the services your shop cannot lose, then compare the products below against that list.

This guide is published by Oskii. We reviewed the linked vendor pages on October 21, 2026; these are documented capabilities and prices, not claims that we tested every platform. Confirm your region, eligibility and a written quote before switching.

CrystalCommerce: evaluate for a full store platform

CrystalCommerce's pricing page lists $99 a month and 2.5% on online sales, with 0% platform transaction fees on POS and card-buying transactions. Confirm setup pricing and payment-processing charges separately. CrystalCommerce pricing.

Ask for a demonstration using your own inventory sample. Check that printings, finishes and conditions survive import, and that a sale changes availability on your channels. Confirm how customer balances and outstanding orders would transfer.

Our CrystalCommerce alternatives guide explains moving a complete store versus importing inventory into a counter tool.

TCGSync: evaluate for commerce and multiple channels

TCGSync lists Storefront Pro at $1,000 setup plus 2% of TCG singles and sealed sales, including counter and online sales. Enterprise starts at $2,499 per month without a sales percentage. Payment processing, marketplace fees and Shopify are separate. TCGSync pricing.

TCGSync says Shopify is currently required and Shopify-independent operation is planned; confirm your setup with them in writing. Confirm each marketplace connection for your actual account rather than assuming a listed channel means every seller can connect.

For $100,000 in annual qualifying sales, $1,000 plus 2% is $3,000 in first-year platform fees. See our TCGSync comparison for the narrower counter-tool option.

TCGplayer Pro: evaluate for the TCGplayer ecosystem

TCGplayer Pro includes pricing tools, a Pro Website, an in-store kiosk and channel management. Its sign-up process is for Level 4 marketplace sellers; sellers connected through a third-party ecommerce provider need to discuss eligibility with TCGplayer. TCGplayer Pro features and eligibility.

TCGplayer states that purchases handled by your own POS incur no Pro fee. Pickup orders processed through its cart have a processing fee but no commission. Ask for the current schedule for shipped marketplace and website orders; do not apply one percentage to every kind of sale.

The TCGplayer Pro comparison covers where Oskii overlaps and which marketplace services it does not replace.

Shopify POS: evaluate for retail checkout

Shopify POS is a named register option. Its US pricing page lists Basic at $39 per month on monthly billing, plus $89 a month per POS Pro location (billed yearly) when that upgrade is needed. Processing, hardware and additional apps affect the total. Shopify POS pricing.

Treat trading-card requirements as a separate checklist: exact printing and condition, large singles catalogs, repricing, buying cards from customers and marketplace stock updates.

Oskii: evaluate when you are keeping your register

Oskii handles stock discovery, pickup requests, holds and the work of pulling cards for customers. It fits when your register works but customers cannot easily find what is available, or staff spend too long locating requested copies. See Oskii pricing for plans and invitation-based access.

It is not a complete substitute for BinderPOS commerce services. Do not assume it migrates customer credit balances, customers or order history, or connects marketplace quantities automatically. Supported inventory imports include ManaBox and CrystalCommerce; validate your source file rather than assuming a direct BinderPOS importer.

Try a small sample first: have a customer request a printing, let staff pick it, mark a missing card, and reconcile the pickup with your register. Our pickup workflow guide walks through the steps.

Is BinderPOS shutting down?

The official BinderPOS page says new seller onboarding and sign-ups are paused and offers a waitlist. That is not an announcement that existing stores must stop using the service. Check the official page and your account communications. BinderPOS status and product information.

Before switching: rehearse the move

  1. Write down every service you use today, including the register, webstore, marketplaces, customer balances and open orders. Assign an owner to each.
  2. Export a representative sample. Include different printings, finishes, conditions and quantities. Keep an untouched copy and reconcile imported counts before a full transfer.
  3. Run a sale, pickup, cancellation and refund. Verify which system changes stock and how quickly other channels reflect it. Include a missing card and an uncollected request.
  4. For a full platform move, reconcile customer balances and open orders, test payment hardware, and map old webstore URLs. Obtain a migration scope in writing.
  5. Agree on a cutover window and rollback plan. Train another staff member on routine tasks. Keep the previous system available until the first trading day reconciles.

Use your own month of sales for the cost comparison. Separate setup charges, subscriptions, per-sale fees and payment processing.

Which option should your shop shortlist?

For a complete commerce move, start with CrystalCommerce and TCGSync. For TCGplayer-centered selling, check Pro eligibility. For a general retail stack, test Shopify POS plus the required card tools. For the counter workflow beside your existing register, evaluate Oskii.

Continue with the software comparison hub or the focused BinderPOS vs Oskii comparison. Keep the shortlist small enough to test with your own stock.

What can I use instead of BinderPOS?
Evaluate CrystalCommerce or TCGSync for a broader commerce platform, TCGplayer Pro for its seller ecosystem, or Shopify POS for retail checkout with separate card-specific tools. Oskii is an option for counter workflows alongside your register.
Is Oskii a full BinderPOS replacement?
No. It covers stock discovery, pickup requests, holds and staff picking. Do not assume it replaces your payment system, online checkout or marketplace synchronization.
Can I move without losing customer balances?
Only a confirmed migration scope and reconciliation can establish that. Inventory import alone does not transfer customer balances or outstanding orders. Test those separately before cutover.
